Overhyped is an evidence-led website visibility product and service I founded to help teams understand what is holding their website back across Google Search, AI systems, and website performance. I lead the product and service direction, from the live tools available today to the longer-term AI CMO product.

The live One Website Checkup accepts one public URL and returns a prioritized report on screen without requiring an account or email address.

What is available today

  • One Website Checkup — 33 Search visibility checks, 16 Agent readiness checks, and up to 9 mobile Lighthouse items when performance evidence is available.
  • Human-reviewed Free Website Audit — a wider review of discoverable public pages, delivered as a prioritized report after the required website and work-email details are provided.
  • 18 focused website tools — practical utilities for metadata, search appearance, headings, sitemaps, internal links, indexability, redirects, robots rules, and social sharing.
  • Managed SEO and AEO service — ongoing work that begins with an agreed audit and baseline, then combines selected measurement with clearly owned implementation.
  • AI CMO direction — an early product concept for helping lean teams understand marketing evidence, choose priorities, and move approved work forward. It is not yet a finished public product.

From one URL to a clear action plan

The checkup separates Search visibility, Agent readiness, and Website performance because each area relies on different evidence. It shows what was tested, what was found, what needs human review, and what should be fixed first.

Review and unavailable items do not reduce the Search or Agent scores. Lighthouse lab evidence is also kept separate from real-user Chrome UX Report data. The intent is to make limitations visible instead of turning uncertainty into a confident-looking score.

The workflow stays deliberately simple:

  1. Enter one public URL.
  2. Review the prioritized evidence and the values found on the live page.
  3. Copy a safe fix plan, deploy the changes, and run the same check again.

How I built it

Astro 7 statically renders the public website, while React 19 islands power the interactive audit and preview tools. A guarded Node.js service uses Cheerio to inspect public HTML and related discovery files, with mobile PageSpeed evidence added when Google data is available. The site and API deploy together on Vercel.

I designed the experience to work for people and agents. The important content, navigation, metadata, schema, and links are present in the initial HTML. Overhyped also supports Markdown responses, machine-discovery links, an API catalog, OpenAPI documentation, an agent-skill index, and progressive WebMCP access.
